General
Description:
The main salon is open and airy.
Forward, the galley is to port and the helm and door to the
sidedeck are to starboard. Aft, the settee/dinette with
fold-down teak table lies to starboard, with a door to port. The
forward cabin is reached by descending four steps and contains a
v-berth. The guest head with marine toilet and shower lies to
starboard. Descending four steps aft fom the main salon, you
enter the owner's cabin with its queen island berth. A private
head lies to starboard, with separate stall shower to port.
Cabin soles are varnished teak parquet; all bulkheads and
cabinetry are of the quality teak joinery that is the hallmark
of Grand Banks trawlers. Both main deck and flybridge decks are
covered with teak planks; ample sidedecks are present to port
and starboard. The flybridge is protected by a Bimini top with
extension and full isinglass enclosure. The flybridge also
features back-to-back bench seating. The transom is varnished
teak as are the cap rails with custom covers. A teak swim
platform includes a stainless steel and teak boarding ladder.
The knowledgeable owner of this classic Grand Banks has
maintained her to the highest standards and meticulously
documented every step. Her engine room is immaculate. You will
not find a nicer GB 36 at any price.....
